WILL ZAP CLIENTS IF LOSES CONNECTION

i have this unit and the pretty identical Roscoe unit. If electrode contact is lost during treatment there is often a quick zap to the client. This does not occur with the Roscoe unit.

Thank you for your review, David. The safety feature integrated into the unit is specifically designed to shut down when it detects a loss of contact or poor connection between the electrode and the skin. This issue could stem from the lead wire, a faulty electrode, or inadequate skin preparation before applying the electrodes, such as the presence of creams or using an electrode that has worn out and lost its adhesiveness. While there may be a brief output of energy when the connection is lost, the unit will promptly shut down to prevent any dangerous current from reaching the skin.
