The Norco® Finger Extension Tube is an innovative orthotic designed to gently support PIP joint extension in cases of mild to moderate flexion contractures. Its unique cylindrical shape delivers low-stress, prolonged stretch, making it ideal for managing joint stiffness and edema. The orthotic applies circumferential pressure to help reduce swelling and is easy to use—simply slide it onto the finger with the seam positioned under the PIP or DIP joint. The fingertip remains visible, and the ends can be trimmed for a customized fit. Made from dense neoprene, polyester, and poly/cotton tape, this latex-free orthosis is not intended for contractures exceeding 50°. For sensitive skin, use a thin liner such as stockinette to prevent irritation.
