The Sizing Set is a complete set of Oval-8's and contains one of each size splint, 2-15. Oval-8’s treat Mallet Finger, Trigger Finger or Trigger Thumb, Swan Neck, Boutonniere Deformity or Broken Fingers. Great for the first-time user, especially those needing more than one splint or whose finger size may change due to swelling, healing or changes in temperature.

With one of each size splint, 2-15, you can try on each splint to find the best fit
The Sizing Set allows you to change to a different size if swelling, temperature or other conditions affect your finger
The angled band allows each splint to fit tighter or looser depending on which end is put on the finger first (look for the + sign for the larger end of the band)
Adding a Gel Tube or strip of Gel Mate silicone gel provides a more comfortable, secure fit
Once you know your size, splints can be bought individually in packages of 1 or 5 per size

Wear: Oval-8 Finger Splints can be worn day or night and multiple splints can be worn without limiting the movement of your hands. Oval-8’s can also be worn over bandages or with Gel Tubes or Gel Mates for cushioning and protection.

Please monitor your finger colour and temperature. Your finger may discolour slightly when you first put your splint on. If the colour does not return to normal after 5 to 10 minutes of wear, remove the splint or try a different size. Please check with your healthcare provider if you experience any discomfort or circulatory concerns.

Care: Hand washable and waterproof - You can wear your Oval-8 Finger Splints in water without removing them.

An accurate fit is the key with Oval-8 Finger Splints. Use a flexible measuring tape or the Oval-8 Printable Sizing Guide to measure around the affected finger joint. Once you have determined your measurement use the sizing chart below as a guide in choosing your correct size.

Since swelling or temperature changes can affect your finger size, choosing only one size does not always guarantee that size will be 100% correct. We suggest choosing an Oval-8 Graduated Set of 3 sizes to get the right fit for you.

So Versatile!

The two Oval 8s I just bought are not my first ones. I have 5 other ones in larger sizes. I treated a trigger thumb with an Oval 8 and was able to avoid surgery. Now, I have problems with arthritis bending the end digits of my fingers to the point of pain and I learned that a splint could correct this, even a little bit, so that the finger nerves are not impacted. I went looking for the Oval 8s on line. I saw a lot of knock offs for a lot less money but the reviews were not good. So I went with what I knew - the great quality of Oval 8s - and bought 2 to try and fix my finger tips. I wear it at night for now. I don't have to worry about accidentally bending my finger the wrong way in my sleep because the splint keeps it nice and straight and is very comfortable to wear. Ordering the splints was easy. They arrived sooner than expected. I think I may need to come back and buy the next two sizes down for my baby fingers as they are starting to bend as well. I've got my grandma's hands that's for sure but I have something she didn't have and that's my Oval 8s. Best things since sliced bread!

Excellent product at an excellent price.

So I have a chronic trigger-thumb thing going on and I bought one of these from Walmart.ca some time ago. I bought one because it was $34.00 and that was as cheap as I could find at the time. Now I find Remington has a 5-pack for like $44.00! Whuuuttt!? So ya, I bought them. No more searching forever for the “one”. Now I have them all over the house, never go without. lol. Thanks Remington. Oh, did I mention fast and free shipping. Ya that’s a thing too. Disclaimer: I have no connection to Remington whatsoever, other than now including them as a go-to for all things orthopedic. :-)

It worked!

I had yet another " trigger finger" (stenosing tenosynovitis) this time it was my other thumb. I'd already had 3 fingers cut open, I really didn't want another one! I wore the Oval 8 for less than 6 months - alternating between 2 of the 3 sizes I got and trigger finger no more. The Oval 8 is inconspicuous and didn't bother me at all. Just really happy to not have to go through another surgery.
